Structures

The Dells Live Steamers currently have 2 structures:

A 10ft by 12ft car/loco shed inside of the upper loop. It contains 3 tracks on rollers for access to one door.

A 10ft by 30ft car/loco shed inside of the lower loop. It contains 2 tracks the length of the building, with room for a third in the middle. The shed also serves as a work shed for minor repairs and track building.

Track

DLS track consists of 1100ft of 7 1/2 inch gauge track. It is in the shape of a dog bone. Two loops that are connected with parallel track to allow continuous operation with no interruptions. Minimum Radius of 30ft.

The summer of 2009 the club plans to move our upper loop towards the front of the R&GN property. With this move we will add an additional 600ft of new track, continuing the parallel tracks from loop to loop.
